Imrul Kayes Regrets Missing Out on Lord's Honours Board

Imrul Kayes expressed regret over missing out on having his name on the Lord's honours board, a feat he believes could have been achieved if he had scored a century in a specific innings.

A Successful Opening Partnership

Imrul's partnership with Tamim Iqbal in Test cricket is still remembered for its success, especially their four opening pair century stands. They accumulated 2336 runs in 53 innings, the highest in this format for Bangladesh, and formed the most successful opening pair for the country with an average of 45.80.

Personal Reflections and Future Plans

Imrul felt that he had a lot more to offer to the national team, but was not given the opportunity by the national selection panel. Despite this, he has no regrets and aims to complete his white-ball career.

Imrul Kayes has also expressed a desire to pursue a career in coaching and plans to undergo a Level 3 coaching course in Australia.
