Ben Curran Receives Maiden Call Up from Zimbabwe

Ben Curran, son of former Zimbabwe cricketer Kevin Curran, has received a maiden call-up for the upcoming ODI series against Afghanistan. He has been rewarded for his performances in domestic cricket.

Newman Nyamhuri Also Receives Maiden Call Up

Nyamhuri, an 18-year-old left-arm pacer, has also been handed a maiden call-up. He made an impression in the Under-19 World Cup in South Africa, where he was Zimbabwe's highest wicket-taker.

Changes to the Squad

The two players come in place of Faraz Akram, Brandon Mavuta, and Clive Madande, who is recovering from a shoulder dislocation. The rest of the squad remains the same as the one that took on Pakistan at the end of last month.
