Mumbai Indians Reclaim WPL Title, Deny Delhi Capitals Again

Mumbai Indians have reclaimed the WPL title, defeating Delhi Capitals by 8 runs in the final. Harmanpreet Kaur's half-century and Nat Sciver-Brunt's all-round performance were key to MI's victory.

Harmanpreet Kaur's 66 and Nat Sciver-Brunt's 30 helped MI post 149/7 in 20 overs. Marizanne Kapp's 2/11 and Jess Jonassen's 2/26 were the best bowling figures for DC.

In response, DC were restricted to 141/9 in 20 overs, with Marizanne Kapp top-scoring with 40. Nat Sciver-Brunt's 3/30 and Amelia Kerr's 2/25 were the standout bowling performances for MI.

The win marks MI's second WPL title in three years, while DC have now lost three consecutive finals.
