
Nat Sciver-Brunt Named New England Captain
Nat Sciver-Brunt has been appointed as the new captain of the England Women's cricket team, succeeding Heather Knight who stepped down after nine years at the helm.
Background
Heather Knight was asked to step down following poor recent results, including a 16-0 annihilation at the hands of Australia in the multi-format Women's Ashes. Head coach Jon Lewis also resigned and was replaced by former player Charlotte Edwards.
