BCB monitoring players' safety in PSL

The Bangladeshi Cricket Board is in touch with the Pakistan Cricket Board to ensure the safety and well-being of their players involved in the Pakistan Super League. Two players, legspinner Rishad Hossain and pacer Nahid Rana, are currently participating in PSL 2025.

The board is taking necessary measures to guarantee the security of their players, in coordination with the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad.

The Bangladesh board is also monitoring the situation for the upcoming five-match T20I tour of Pakistan, set to begin on May 25. BCB president Faruque Ahmed stated that they are waiting to observe how the situation progresses in Pakistan before making a decision.

The main concern at the moment is the safety of the two players currently in Pakistan playing in the PSL.
