England Announce Squads for West Indies Series

Will Jacks and Matthew Potts have made their comebacks to the England squad for the upcoming ODI and T20I series against West Indies.

Return of Familiar Faces

  • Tom Hartley returns to the ODI squad after last playing in September 2023.
  • Liam Dawson and Luke Wood are back in the T20I squad after last playing in September 2022 and September 2023, respectively.
  • Brydon Carse, who exited the Champions Trophy early due to a toe injury, is part of both squads.
  • Rehan Ahmed, who replaced Carse in the Champions Trophy, has been included in the T20I squad.

Notable Exclusions

  • Mark Wood has been ruled out for four months following a knee surgery in March.
  • Phil Salt and Liam Livingstone are excluded from the ODI squad, but Salt will join the team for the T20I leg.
  • Archer, Gus Atkinson, Smith, and Mark Wood are excluded from the T20I squad.
