IPL 2025 Restart Update: Returning Players and Replacements

As IPL 2025 resumes, here's a team-by-team update on returning players, absentees, and replacements.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru

  • Phil Salt, Liam Livingstone, and Jacob Bethell have rejoined the squad.
  • Romario Shepherd is back in the squad after being instrumental in the team's home win over CSK.

Delhi Capitals

  • Mustafizur Rahman has been signed as a replacement for Jake Fraser-McGurk, but is awaiting a No Objection Certificate from the BCB.

Kolkata Knight Riders

  • All players and staff have reached Bengaluru, except for Rovman Powell and Moeen Ali, who are absent due to medical reasons.

Punjab Kings

  • Kyle Jamieson has been signed as a replacement for Lockie Ferguson, who is ruled out of the tournament with a hamstring injury.
  • Marcus Stoinis, Aaron Hardie, and Jos Inglis have not confirmed their participation, but may return after their first game.

Lucknow Super Giants

  • William O'Rourke has been signed as an injury replacement for Mayank Yadav.
  • Travis Head and Pat Cummins will fly directly to Lucknow ahead of the SRH game.

  • Jofra Archer will not rejoin the squad for their final two games.

  • Sam Curran and Jamie Overton will not return to feature in the team's final two games.
