Bangladesh tour of UAE – Series Digest

Parvez Hossain Emon scored a maiden international hundred, hitting nine sixes and four boundaries in his 54-ball century, to help Bangladesh to a 27-run victory over the UAE in Sharjah. Emon's innings propelled Bangladesh to 191/7. Muhammad Jawadullah was the pick of the bowlers for UAE, taking 4/21.

In reply, UAE were well on course at the halfway mark thanks to a 62-run stand between skipper Muhammad Waseem (54 off 39) and Rahul Chopra (35 off 22). However, Tanzin Sakib dismissed Chopra, triggering a collapse. Mustafizur Rahman conceded only seven runs in his final two overs, and Hasan Mahmud took the key wicket of Asif Khan. Mahedi Hasan took two wickets in the final over to finish with 2-55.
