2025 Women's Emerging Asia Cup Postponed

The Women's Emerging Teams Asia Cup, scheduled to start on June 6 in Sri Lanka, has been postponed indefinitely due to adverse weather conditions and health concerns.

Reason for Postponement

The postponement was requested by Shammi Silva, President of Sri Lanka Cricket, citing adverse weather conditions and concerns over the spread of Chikungunya in the region.

ACC's Commitment

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is committed to providing opportunities for young women cricketers to develop their skills and compete at the highest level.

Rescheduling Efforts

The ACC will announce new dates for the tournament in due course.
