With Firepower Up Top, TSK Seek Middle-Order Spark for Maiden Title

Last Season's Performance: Playoffs – Qualifier 2

Faf du Plessis will lead Texas Super Kings in their quest for a maiden title. Du Plessis finished as the tournament's leading run-scorer with 420 runs at a strike rate of 170. Devon Conway nearly matched du Plessis' performance, scoring 300 runs. The pair's dominance carried the side throughout the season.

However, the middle order failed to find rhythm when it mattered most.

Marcus Stoinis endured a lean run, managing just 83 runs in six innings. Milind Kumar struggled, compiling only 50 runs. Joshua Tromp was a bright spot, delivering a half-century in Qualifier 2.

International Contingent:

TSK will be without Dwayne Bravo. Aaron Hardie was deemed surplus to requirements. Mitchell Marsh and Daryl Mitchell are new additions. Nandre Burger and Adam Milne reinforce the fast bowling unit. Shubham Ranjane, a domestic seam-bowling all-rounder, was signed at the draft table. Sai Teja Mukkamalla, USA T20 opener, is yet to be handed an opportunity. Calvin Savage is retained for his brisk cameos. Zia-Ul-Haq and Mohammad Mohsin are the beating hearts of the TSK bowling line-up.

Probable XI:

Faf du Plessis, Devon Conway, Joshua Tromp, Daryl Mitchell, Milind Kumar, Shubham Ranjane, Marcus Stoinis, Mohammad Mohsin, Zia-Ul-Haq, Noor Ahmad, Adam Milne
