WTC Final: South Africa's Batting Coach Ashwell Prince on the Dukes Ball and Preparation

South Africa's batting coach Ashwell Prince has spoken about the team's preparation for the WTC final against Australia at Lord's, which will feature the Dukes ball. Prince believes that the change in ball will not give either team an advantage, as both teams have potent bowlers who can perform well with the Dukes.

South Africa's Strong Bowling Lineup

Prince highlighted the strength of South Africa's bowling lineup, which includes Kagiso Rabada, Marco Jansen, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, and Nathan Lyon, all of whom are among the top 10 bowlers in the world.

Prince's Thoughts on the WTC Final

Prince also spoke about the WTC final, saying that it's a good way to determine the champion, as not every team gets to play against all other teams an equal number of times. He added that South Africa are comfortable with the format.

South Africa's Preparation for the Final

South Africa are currently playing a four-day match against Zimbabwe at Arundel, which will help them prepare for the WTC final. The team scored 313/2 in their first innings, with Ryan Rickelton making 62, Temba Bavuma and Tristan Stubbs each scoring 58, and Wiaan Mulder taking guard at No. 3.

Bowling Performance

South Africa's bowlers showed their skills in the 11 overs they bowled at Zimbabwe, with Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi both threatening the batsmen.
