Jamie Overton is set for a Test comeback after nearly three years, having last played against New Zealand at Headingley in June 2022. He sustained a broken little finger on his right hand during the first ODI against the West Indies on May 29 and is being assessed daily.

Brydon Carse and the Warwickshire pair of Jacob Bethell and Chris Woakes are also making a comeback, having last featured during the Test tour of New Zealand in December.
