Bengaluru Stampede: KSCA Officials Resign

A Shankar and ES Jairam, the secretary and treasurer of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), have resigned from their posts in the wake of the stampede that occurred outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Reason for Resignation

The officials cited moral responsibility for the tragic incident that resulted in the deaths of 11 people and injured over 50.

Resignation Statement

"We tendered our resignation to our respective posts as Secretary and Treasurer of the Karnataka State Cricket Association, by way of a letter dated 06.06.2025 to the President of the Karnataka State Cricket Association."
