Hampshire Sign Tilak Varma for Short Stint

Tilak Varma, a 22-year-old left-handed batter from Hyderabad, has been recruited by Hampshire County Cricket Club for a two-month stint. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) granting him a No-Objection Certificate (NOC).

Varma will play for Hampshire from June 18 to August 2, featuring in four four-day games initially. His participation in white-ball games is yet to be confirmed.

The Hyderabad Cricket Association has wished Varma a successful stint with Hampshire County.
