**England Whitewash West Indies 3-0 in T20I Series

England cruised to a 37-run win in the third T20I, completing a series whitewash against West Indies at the Rose Bowl in Southampton.

First Innings

England's openers, Ben Duckett and Jamie Smith, blazed away to a 120-run stand in 53 deliveries. Duckett took down Akeal Hosein, hammering boundaries and a six, before Smith took charge against Romario Shepherd, meting out similar treatment

Duckett continued the assault, bringing up his half-century within the powerplay. Smith took down Shepherd again, tonking three sixes. He was dropped later, but added only two runs to his score before falling to Gudakesh Moite.

England continued to find boundaries at regular intervals. Bethell smashed Moite for three consecutive sixes in the 17th over, taking England past the 200-run mark. Harry Brook added to the assault in the late overs.

Second Innings

West Indies fell wayward in the chase early on, despite Evin Lewis hammering the first ball for a six. Shai Hope smashed Will Jacks for a couple of sixes, and Hetmyer tonked three in his first seven, but English bowlers kept chipping in with regular wickets.

Shai Hope and Rovman Powell looked to build energy in the chase, but two more dismissals left Powell to wage a lone battle. He did his bit with an unbeaten 45-ball 79, but they never threatened the hosts through the chase. Eventually, West Indies finished the tour without a win, whitewashed in the ODIs earlier.

Brief Scores

England 248/3 in 20 overs (Ben Duckett 84, Jamie Smith 60)
West Indies 211/8 in 20 overs (Rovman Powell 79, Shai Hope 45)
England won by 37 runs.
