Washington Freedom collect third win on the bounce
Washington Freedom beat MI New York by two wickets to secure their third win in a row. Mitchell Owen scored 60 off 26 balls and Mark Chapman remained unbeaten on 45.
WF reached 74 for 2 at the end of the powerplay. Owen hit three sixes in a 22-run over from Rushil Ugarkar. After Owen's dismissal in the eighth over, the innings plateaued. Chapman collected 14 runs off Ugarkar in the 19th over, leaving only three runs to get in the final over.
