Unbeaten SFU eye double over MI New York

San Francisco Unicorns are the only unbeaten team in MLC 2025. They have won three of their four games, beating MINY in the last over a week ago.

The Unicorns have the leading run-scorer and wicket-taker of the tournament so far: Finn Allen (247 runs) and Haris Rauf (11 wickets). Jake Fraser-McGurk has also found form, along with domestic players Sanjay Krishnamurthi and Hassan Khan.

Captain Corey Anderson is out of the tournament, but the team has continued to perform well.

MINY, the inaugural MLC champions, are in fourth place with one win in four matches. Their batters have shown glimpses of form but not consistently. Captain Nicholas Pooran is yet to find his rhythm.

MINY's bowling has also struggled, with an economy rate above 8 runs per over. Nosthush Kenjige is yet to play a game. Naveen-ul-Haq has been their best bowler with 11 wickets.
