Shikha Pandey, Shreyanka Patil Set for WCPL Return

Shreyanka Patil and Shikha Pandey are gearing up for the 2025 Women's Caribbean Premier League, with the tournament set to begin on September 6. Patil, who has been nursing a hand fracture, will join Barbados Royals, while Pandey has been retained by Trinbago Knight Riders.

Barbados Royals

The Hayley Matthews-led team has retained its core, including Chinelle Henry, Afy Fletcher, and Aaliyah Alleyne. They have also signed Kycia Knight, Australian wicketkeeper Georgia Redmayne, and Sri Lankan opener Chamari Athapaththu.

Trinbago Knight Riders

The team, led by Deandra Dottin, has a youthful squad with players like Jahzara Claxton, Zaida James, Jannillea Glasgow, and Samara Ramnath. They have also retained Shikha Pandey and added Australian allrounder Jess Jonassen, as well as Lizelle Lee, who makes her WCPL debut.

Guyana Amazon Warriors

The hosts have retained experienced stars like Stafanie Taylor, Karishma Ramharack, and Shermaine Campbelle. They have also signed South African speedster Shabnim Ismail and Australian legspinning allrounder Madeline Penna.
