Clinical India down England again to go 2-0 up

India Women dominated England in the second T20I, taking a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. Jemimah Rodrigues and Amanjot Kaur's half-centuries set up India's win, followed by a disciplined bowling effort.

India batted first, with Smriti Mandhana starting strong before being dismissed for 13. Harmanpreet Kaur also fell cheaply, leaving India 35/3 at the end of the powerplay. Rodrigues and Amanjot rebuilt the innings, with Rodrigues scoring an excellent half-century. Amanjot followed suit, and the pair added 55 runs in the final five overs.

With the ball, India made a strong start, reducing England to 17/3. Nat-Sciver Brunt briefly resisted, but Amanjot and Shree Charani took wickets to leave England reeling. Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones revived the chase, but Beaumont was run out, and India closed out the win.

Scores: India 181/4 (Amanjot Kaur 63*, Jemimah Rodrigues 63) beat England 157/7 (Tammy Beaumont 54, Sophie Ecclestone 35*) by 24 runs.
