MI New York, LA Knight Riders Look to Break Losing Habit

The Seattle Orcas' recovery, led by Shimron Hetmyer, has been a thorn in the side of the two bottom-dwelling teams in MLC 2025, MI New York and LA Knight Riders. Both teams have struggled to find their footing, with MI New York's last win coming two weeks ago and LA Knight Riders' last win on June 22.

The two teams will face each other twice over the next three days, with both sides desperate to grab four crucial points to keep their campaign alive. Losing has become a habit for both teams, with MI New York's last two defeats seeing them post 237 and then fail to chase 203, while LA Knight Riders have posted 200-plus totals and failed to defend them.

The teams will meet at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill, Florida, with a forecast of rain in the morning but clearing up by match time. The venue has seen batters struggle, with totals of 200 being easily scored and outscored.
