Flamboyant Pant, steady Rahul take India's lead past 350
India's lead has surpassed 350 on the fourth morning of the second Test in Birmingham, thanks to Rishabh Pant's aggressive batting and his unbroken 51-run stand with Shubman Gill. The duo scored 113 runs off 25 overs in the session, moving India to 177 for 3 at Lunch on Day 4, leading by 357 runs.
Rishabh Pant's innings was marked by a mix of luck and skill, as he rode his way to 41* off 44 balls, including a six and three fours. He was put down at mid-off by Zak Crawley off Ben Stokes, but capitalised on the miss to strike a four and an audacious sweep for a six off Josh Tongue.
