Morkel Praises Akash Deep and Mohammed Siraj for Their Impressive Performance

India's bowling coach, Morne Morkel, has praised the fast bowling pair of Akash Deep and Mohammed Siraj for their outstanding performance in the ongoing Test match against England. Despite the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, the duo has taken all 13 wickets for India so far, putting the team on the cusp of a famous overseas win.

Morkel was particularly impressed with Akash Deep's ability to attack the stumps from wide of the crease, which has stood out in the match. He also praised Deep's "dream delivery" that castled Joe Root with a full delivery that angled in and seamed away late.

Morkel also reserved special praise for Siraj, who has been willing to push his body to the limits for the team. He noted that Siraj's effort and energy have been impressive, and that he has been doing a great job leading the attack in Bumrah's absence.

The coach defended India's short-ball ploy in the first innings, saying it was a justifiable method to prise out a wicket once the ball had gone soft. He also emphasized the importance of asking questions on a good length, especially as the ball gets softer.

Overall, Morkel is pleased with the performance of the Indian bowling attack and is hoping for more of the same on the final day of the match.
