Ruthless Australia Swat Aside WI to Clinch Series

Australia dominated the fourth day in Grenada, defeating the West Indies by 133 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the Test series.

Resuming at 221/7, Australia added 22 runs to their overnight score before Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood dismantled the West Indies top order. The hosts were set a challenging target on a surface that was keeping low.

Josh Hazlewood struck early, bowling John Campbell lbw, and Mitchell Starc soon followed, dismissing Keacy Carter. Brandon King made an impressive start, but was eventually dismissed by Pat Cummins. The West Indies struggled, with Shai Hope and Roston Chase providing some resistance before being dismissed by Hazlewood and Lyon respectively.
