Bangladesh Cricket Board to Hold Workshop for National Cricketers

Following the recent controversy surrounding Taskin Ahmed, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to launch a workshop in August to educate national cricketers on their responsibilities and boundaries.

Background

A General Diary (GD) was filed against Taskin Ahmed at Mirpur Model Police Station on Monday, alleging assault and issuing threats. The incident reportedly took place on Sunday night in front of Sony Cinema Hall.

Taskin Ahmed's Response

Taskin Ahmed has denied the allegations, stating that they are "false and fabricated."

BCB's Response

BCB media committee chairman Iftekhar Ahmed has stated that the cricket board cannot take action against Taskin Ahmed until the investigation is complete. He emphasized that the matter is now in the hands of the police and will be resolved accordingly.

Workshop Plans

The BCB plans to hold a short workshop with national cricketers in August to remind them of their responsibilities and boundaries as role models for young fans.
