Kolkata Knight Riders Part Ways with Head Coach Chandrakant Pandit

Kolkata Knight Riders have parted ways with head coach Chandrakant Pandit after three seasons. Pandit joined the team in August 2022, following Brendon McCullum's appointment as England Men's Test head coach.

Under Pandit's leadership, KKR won the trophy in 2024, led by Shreyas Iyer, after a decade-long wait. The franchise thanked Pandit for his contributions, including the 2024 championship win and building a strong squad.

Pandit's record with KKR includes 22 wins and 18 losses in 42 games across three seasons. However, the team finished eighth in the 2025 season, winning only five of their 14 league outings.

KKR is yet to announce a replacement for Pandit.
