LSG Appoints Bharat Arun as Bowling Coach

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has appointed Bharat Arun as their bowling coach for the upcoming seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Arun, a former India pacer, joins LSG after a successful stint with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), which included a triumphant season in 2024.

Arun has inked a two-year deal with LSG, which will require him to work with the players throughout the year. This development means LSG are unlikely to continue with Zaheer Khan, the mentor of the Rishabh Pant-captained side last season.

The appointment of Arun comes a day after KKR parted ways with head coach Chandrakant Pandit. KKR will recruit new coaching staff after a robust selection process.

Arun's departure from KKR was amicable, with the team's mentor Dwayne Bravo overseeing bowling strategies. KKR maintains an "institutional policy" of not standing in the way of their staff's professional growth.
