Trent Rockets Cruise to Victory Over Birmingham Phoenix

Trent Rockets got their season off to a flying start with a comfortable victory over Birmingham Phoenix at Edgbaston. Phoenix struggled from the start, falling to 12/3, and despite a 63-run stand between Joe Clarke and Liam Livingstone, were restricted to 122/6.

In response, Tom Banton's explosive start, backed up by Rehan Ahmed and Max Holden, helped Trent Rockets chase down the target with ease. Banton hit three fours and three sixes in his 29-ball stay, while Ahmed and Holden chipped in with 25 and 22* respectively.
