Brave Cap Off Flawless League Campaign with 29-Run Win Over Fire

Southern Brave completed a perfect league campaign with a 29-run victory over Welsh Fire at The Rose Bowl, securing their spot in the final of The Hundred Women's Competition 2025.

In their innings, Brave posted 106 for 8, with Georgia Adams top-scoring with 30 and Danni Wyatt-Hodge contributing 24. Hayley Matthews and Shabnim Ismail picked up wickets at regular intervals, but Brave's batting depth allowed them to reach 100.

Fire's chase was hindered by a devastating spell from Lauren Bell, who finished with figures of 4 for 6 from 20 balls. The rest of the bowlers supported her well, restricting Fire to 77 for 9 from their full allotment.

This victory marked the first time a team in The Hundred's history has won all eight group matches in a single season, as Brave finished atop the table for the third time. Fire, on the other hand, finished at the bottom of the table for the third time in five seasons.
