Pakistan Secure Second Win in Tri-Series with 31-Run Victory over UAE
Saim Ayub and Hasan Nawaz's fiery efforts powered Pakistan to 207, setting up their 31-run victory over UAE in Sharjah. This marks Pakistan's second win in as many days in the tri-series, also involving Afghanistan.
Pakistan's Innings
Saim Ayub and Fakhar Zaman laid the foundation for Pakistan's innings, taking 22 runs off Junaid Siddique in the third over. Ayub continued to decimate the bowling, eventually falling for a 38-ball 69. Hasan Nawaz then took over, slamming three successive sixes off Haider Ali before perishing for a 26-ball 56.
UAE's Chase
UAE opener Muhammad Waseem started strongly, but was run out for an 18-ball 33. Asif Khan and Dhruv Parashar attempted to revive the innings, but Asif's eventual 77 off 35 deliveries wasn't enough to chase down the target.
