Ibrahim, Atal and Rashid headline Afghanistan's win over UAE

Afghanistan earned their first points of the T20I tri-series in UAE after defeating hosts UAE by 38 runs in Sharjah.

Sediqullah Atal (63 off 40) and Ibrahim Zadran (54 off 40) scored breezy fifties, while Azmatullah Omarzai and Karim Janat added late hitting to propel Afghanistan to 188/4.

Muhammad Waseem (67 off 37) fought hard for UAE, with Rahul Chopra (52* off 35) also contributing. However, a brittle middle-order collapsed against Rashid Khan (3/21), who became the leading wicket-taker in T20Is with 165 wickets, and Sharafuddin Ashraf (3/24).
