Jurel ton leads India A's impressive comeback
Dhruv Jurel scored a century as India A made an impressive comeback in the first unofficial Test against Australia A in Lucknow.
The match is heading towards a draw after rain marred the third day.
Sai Sudharsan and N Jagadeesan continued to bat positively for India A before Sudharsan was dismissed by Xavier Bartlett for 73. Devdutt Padikkal joined Sudharsan and the duo added 80 runs for the third wicket. Cooper Connolly dismissed Sudharsan leg-before-wicket. Shreyas Iyer was then dismissed for a single-digit score.
Jurel joined Padikkal and the pair revived India A's innings. Jurel was the aggressor, hitting four sixes in his century. India A reached 403/4 before stumps.
Australia A still hold a lead of 129 runs.
