India have been fined 10 per cent of their match fee for maintaining a slow over-rate in the third Women's ODI against Australia.

Match referee G.S. Lakshmi imposed the sanction after India were found to be two overs short of the required rate.

Under Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct, players are fined five per cent of their match fee for each over not bowled within the allotted time.

India captain Harmanpreet Kaur accepted the charge and the proposed penalty. The slow over-rate was reported by on-field umpires Lauren Agenbag and Janani Narayanan, with support from third umpire Gayathri Venugopalan and fourth umpire Vrinda Rathi.
