Ravichandran Smaran scored his second double hundred this year, finishing unbeaten on 227, as Karnataka declared at 547/8. Shreyas Gopal and Shikhar Shetty added fifties. In reply, Chandigarh were 72/4, with Gopal taking three wickets.
