Scorchers' innings was built on solid top-order contributions. A brisk opening stand between Katie Mack and Beth Mooney set the tone. Skipper Sophie Devine then anchored the middle overs, scoring 40 off 28 balls in a 69-run partnership with Maddy Darke (36). Devine's innings included two fours and three sixes.
The late surge came from Freya Kemp (28 off 13) and Alana King (22* off 8), who plundered 54 runs in the final four overs to push the total past 180.
