BCB decide against travelling to India for T20 World Cup

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has revoked the No Objection Certificate granted to Mustafizur Rahman to play in the IPL, effective immediately.

This decision was made during a BCB meeting with officials and concerned authorities. As a result, even if the Kolkata Knight Riders reverse their decision, BCB will not permit Mustafizur to participate in the IPL due to security concerns.

Furthermore, Bangladesh will not travel to India for the T20 World Cup. A press release regarding this matter will be issued shortly.

Previously, BCB had intended to send letters to the ICC and BCCI inquiring about security arrangements but reversed this decision in a board meeting attended by a majority of directors.
