Stats: Records tumble as NZ secure first ever ODI series win in India
Stats highlights from the third ODI between India and New Zealand in Indore:
1 – New Zealand have registered their first-ever bilateral ODI series win in India since 1988, after 37 years and seven consecutive series losses. Before this series, New Zealand had won just eight out of 39 completed ODI matches against India in India.

In the second ODI of this series, New Zealand achieved their highest target – 285 runs – in India, bettering their 283-run chase against England in Ahmedabad in the opening game of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023.
New Zealand's victory in the second ODI also saw them register their first win against India after eight consecutive losses in ODIs since 2023.
3 – This series is only the third bilateral ODI series loss for India out of 19 at home in the last 10 years since 2016. The other two came against Australia in 2019 and 2023.

1 – Today is also the first instance of two New Zealand batters scoring hundreds against India in the same ODI innings. Glenn Phillips scored 106 runs off just 88 balls.

Kohli continues to take giant strides
