T20 World Cup 2026: Are the Scots coming?

It's not official yet but looks certain – Scotland will replace Bangladesh in the T20 World Cup 2026, starting in India and Sri Lanka on February 7.

It is not clear whether a formal invite has gone from the International Cricket Council (ICC) to Cricket Scotland, but the stage has been set for this. It is only a matter of time before Bangladesh is replaced by the Associate country from northwestern Europe.
