Jatinder Singh powers Oman to win over Zimbabwe; Nepal down Canada

Fifties by Brian Bennett (56) and Tashinga Musekiwa (54*) were not enough for Zimbabwe as Oman chased down 188 with four balls to spare in Colombo. Sufyan Mehmood (3 for 22) and Nadeem Khan (2 for 26) were the pick of the bowlers for Oman.

In the chase, Jatinder Singh (55) and Hammad Mirza (35) laid the platform, with Jiten Ramanandi hitting a crucial 18-ball 34 towards the end as Oman clinched the win.

Aasif Sheikh (58) and Sandeep Jora (44) guided Nepal to victory as they chased down 162 against Canada with two overs to spare in Chennai. Sandeep Lamichhane (2 for 14) and Kushal Bhurtel (2 for 26) were key bowlers in the first innings.

For Canada, Navneet Dhaliwal scored 41, while Shreyas Movva's 38* off 19 and Jaskaran Singh's 21 off 11 boosted them to 161 for 6.

New Zealand pipped USA by seven runs in a close contest in Navi Mumbai. Chasing 208, USA needed 11 off the last over with four wickets in hand, but Matt Henry (5 for 32) took two wickets and conceded just four runs to restrict USA to 201 for 8. Saiteja Mukkamalla hit a 31-ball 50 for USA.

Earlier, New Zealand amassed 208 for 7, powered by Tim Seifert's 31-ball 66 and Glenn Phillips' 40 off 18.
