Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashed a blistering 175 to power India to a commanding position in the U19 World Cup 2026 final against England in Harare, setting several records.
175 by Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is the first 150-plus score in an U19 World Cup playoffs game, surpassing Nicholas Pooran's 143 in the 2014 quarter-final. It is also the highest individual score in an U19 World Cup final, beating Unmukt Chand's 111* in 2012.
It is the second-highest score for India in Youth ODIs, behind only Ambati Rayudu's 177* in 2002.
14 years, 316 days – Sooryavanshi is now the youngest to score an U19 World Cup hundred, breaking Babar Azam's record (15 years, 92 days in 2010). He is one of only two players to score a Youth ODI hundred before turning 15.
