Vidwath Kaverappa (3/38), Prasidh Krishna (3/21), and leg-spinner Shreyas Gopal (3/4) shared the wickets. In reply, Karnataka lost KL Rahul (28) and Devdutt Padikkal (17), but Mayank Agarwal's unbeaten 54 guided them to 110/2 at stumps, trailing by just 10 runs.
