India to play two white-ball games in Ireland in June
The Indian men's team is likely to play two white-ball matches in Ireland in late June. While the format is yet to be officially confirmed, they are most likely to be T20s. A formal announcement by the BCCI and Cricket Ireland is expected by the end of the day.
The matches will be held between the home series against Afghanistan and the away white-ball series in England, scheduled for the fourth week of June.
This will mark the first international assignment for Suryakumar Yadav's side following their recent World Cup triumph. India's series against Afghanistan concludes on June 20, and their series in England begins on July 1, creating a brief window for the Ireland fixtures.
While India have typically played three matches on recent tours to Ireland (2018, 2022, 2023), scheduling constraints have limited this visit to two games. The series has been in planning for several months to fit into the tight schedule.
