LAKR unveil The Knight Riders Cricket Field in California

Major League Cricket's 2026 playoffs will be played at the Oakland Coliseum from July 15, with the final scheduled for July 18. It will mark the first time the league's postseason will be staged on America's West Coast.

The fourth season will run from June 18 to July 18, beginning in Grand Prairie, Texas, before moving across venues in California. The Coliseum, which emerged as a high-scoring venue after its debut last season, will also host a block of regular-season matches from June 24 to 28, featuring all six teams across eight games before the mid-July playoffs.

Johnny Grave, CEO of MLC, said: "The energy our fans have brought to the Championship Final in Grand Prairie the past three years has been incredible, with each one selling out. As our fanbase continues to grow across the country, we're excited to break new ground and bring that same playoff intensity to the Oakland Coliseum. The Bay Area showed tremendous passion for cricket last summer, and we're looking forward to welcoming fans for an even bigger celebration of the game with both regular season matches and the MLC Championship Final on the West Coast."

LA Knight Riders find a home in California

In a historic move for cricket in the USA, the Knight Riders Cricket Field was unveiled in Pomona, California. This venue will become the permanent home field for the LA Knight Riders from the upcoming MLC season. They have been assigned to host matches from July 1 to 5.
