O'Rourke, Tickner return for white-ball series against Bangladesh
Fast bowlers Matt Fisher, Will O'Rourke, and Blair Tickner have returned to the New Zealand squad after injury layoffs. The team has named 15-member squads for the upcoming ODI and T20I series against Bangladesh.
Test captain Tom Latham will lead the side in the absence of regular white-ball captain Mitch Santner, who is unavailable due to commitments with the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Several other New Zealand players are also missing the series as they are involved in the IPL and Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Injury Returns:
- Will O'Rourke (back injury) returns for the three ODIs.
- Matt Fisher (shin injury) returns for the T20Is.
- Blair Tickner (ankle injury) is named in both squads.
Head coach Rob Walter welcomed the return of the bowlers, stating, "Will, Blair and Matt have been working very hard over the past few months to get themselves back on the park and back in contention for selection, and we're pleased to welcome them back into the group. With the amount of cricket being played in the modern game, having depth in our bowling stocks is key."

- Off-spinning allrounder Dean Foxcroft earns a recall to the white-ball setup.
- Kristian Clarke and Jayden Lennox are also included after their involvement in the historic away series win against India in January.
