Lister replaces Clarke in white-ball squads for Bangladesh tour

New Zealand have called up left-arm seamer Ben Lister to their ODI and T20 squads for the Bangladesh tour. Lister replaces Kristian Clarke, who has been ruled out with a hand injury.

Clarke suffered a laceration to the webbing of his right hand while attempting a catch for New Zealand A in their one-day match against Sri Lanka A earlier this week.

Lister, currently part of the New Zealand A squad in Sri Lanka, is expected to join the team in Bangladesh on Sunday ahead of the ODI series, which begins in Mirpur on Friday. He has not featured for the national side in over two years.

Meanwhile, fast bowler Ben Sears will miss the ODI leg of the tour after signing as a late replacement for Rawalpindi in the Pakistan Super League. He will not be replaced in the ODI squad and is set to join the team for the T20I series, which starts in Chattogram on April 30.

The squad is scheduled to depart for Bangladesh on Monday (April 13).
