MI New York won their second MLC title in three years, defeating a strong Washington Freedom side in a thrilling final over. This victory marked MI New York's 13th consecutive win in finals across men's and women's competitions since 2013.

The 2025 season saw a significant increase in run-scoring, with 18 totals exceeding 200, a stark contrast to the previous two seasons. The highest total of the tournament was 286 by San Francisco Unicorns, achieved in the season opener.
