Women's World Cup 2025: Bengaluru fixtures moved to Navi Mumbai

DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai will host five games for the ICC Women's World Cup 2025, replacing the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

The Karnataka State Association couldn't secure permission from the Karnataka State Government to host the games.

The DY Patil Stadium will host three league fixtures, one semi-final and potentially the final (which is also earmarked for Colombo if Pakistan qualifies).

Navi Mumbai is one of five venues for the Women's World Cup, with the other four being:

• ACA Stadium in Guwahati
• ACA-VDCA Stadium in Vizag
• Holkar Stadium in Indore
• R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo

Schedule Changes:

• The inaugural game between joint hosts India and Sri Lanka on September 30, originally scheduled for Bengaluru, will now be played in Guwahati.
• The October 3 clash between England and South Africa has also been moved to Guwahati.
• As a result, Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh on October 20 and India vs New Zealand on October 23 have been moved to Navi Mumbai.
• Guwahati will host the New Zealand vs Bangladesh tie on October 10 instead of Vizag.
• The ACA-VDCA Stadium will host the penultimate league clash between England and New Zealand on October 26.

The top-four sides from the league stage will progress to the semifinals, with first-place playing fourth and second taking on third. The tournament will be played from September 30 to November 2.
