South Africa Wins ODI Series Against Pakistan

Tazmin Brits smashed a phenomenal 171 and Laura Wolvaardt scored a century as South Africa clinched the three-match ODI series against Pakistan with a game to spare.

The South African openers put on a match-winning 260-run stand, setting the foundation for their 292/3 in a rain-affected 46-over match.

Pakistan's reply was led by Sidra Amin's second consecutive century of the series, but it wasn't enough as they fell short by 25 runs.

Brits played aggressively, reaching her century off 106 balls, while Wolvaardt reached her century before being dismissed by Diana Baig. Nadine de Klerk was dismissed for a golden duck, and Annerie Dercksen was run out by Baig. Brits remained unbeaten on 171, hitting five more boundaries after the wickets fell.

Pakistan's target was revised to 313 from 46 overs. Sidra Amin, who scored a century in the previous game, was dismissed early. Omaima Sohail scored a quick 43 before being bowled by Masabata Klaas. Sidra then forged a 146-run partnership with Natalia Parvez (73 off 60 balls) to revive Pakistan's hopes.

Chloe Tryon broke through the partnership, dismissing Sidra Amin for 122. Pakistan lost their last six wickets for 40 runs, including both set batters, as South Africa secured a comfortable victory.
