Ebadot Set to Return to Competitive Action

=====================================================

Bangladeshi Pacer to Feature in Fourth Round of National Cricket League

Bangladesh's Ebadot Hossain is set to return to competitive cricket after a 14-month hiatus with Sylhet Division in the National Cricket League. The pacer has been recovering from a knee ACL injury sustained during the ODI series against Afghanistan in July 2023.

Ebadot's Return to Competitive Cricket

Ebadot will feature in Sylhet Division's fourth-round match against Khulna Division, scheduled to begin on November 9. According to BCB chief physician Debashish Chowdhury, this is part of Ebadot's rehabilitation process, and there may be restrictions on his bowling due to the injury.

Rehabilitation Process and Future Plans

Ebadot's return to competitive cricket will help him regain his rhythm, which is essential before participating in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The BCB aims to monitor his progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure his full recovery before the start of the tournament.

Ebadot's Future Plans

Ebadot has been picked by defending BPL champions Fortune Barishal for the next edition of the tournament, scheduled to start on December 30. The BCB had sent him to India for rehabilitation during their tour, and he will continue to be closely monitored by the team management.
