England's ODI Turnaround: Can Liam Livingstone Complete the Series Win?

England's ODI revival is centered around Liam Livingstone's revival. Just a few weeks ago, he was left out of the ODI squad due to poor returns with the bat. However, an injury to Jos Buttler gave him an opportunity to return to the setup immediately. Not only was he back but was also asked to lead the ODI squad in West Indies for the three-match series tied at 1-1.

England were poor in the opening game, but Livingstone stood tall with a brisk 48. The turning point was in the second game where he unleashed himself, scoring his best ODI score.

With England chasing 329, Livingstone walked out to bat in a tricky scenario and hammered a maiden ODI ton. He showed game awareness during the chase by taking 60 deliveries for his first fifty and getting the next fifty off just 17 deliveries, clearing the ropes nine times.

Now, a win in the final ODI will give England a series win in the format in over a year. A series win will also give England a lot of confidence to hunt for the Champions Trophy coming up in a few months' time.
