Prediction Methodology

Home » Prediction Methodology

CricTips predictions are produced through a repeatable pipeline: licensed data inputs, statistical assessment and human editorial review before publication.

Data inputs

  • Fixtures, results and live scores from licensed cricket data feeds (including our data partner Cricap).
  • Team and player form, head-to-head records and squad information.
  • Venue and pitch context such as ground history and match conditions.

Assessment

Each preview weighs recent form, matchup history, squad strength and conditions, and states a probabilistic view of the likely match shape. We favour verifiable facts near the top of every article: who is playing, where, when and in what format.

Editorial review and cadence

Automated drafts are reviewed and published under an organizational editorial byline. Previews are published ahead of each fixture and updated when material information (for example squads or toss) changes before the start.

Limitations and corrections

Predictions are opinions, not guarantees, and late-breaking information may not be reflected. If you spot an error, contact the editors via the contact page; verified corrections are published promptly.
